Gallery Highlights Home Workshops Gallery Highlights Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 90-minute facilitated session Cost: £130 per class (up to 32 pupils) This session gives students an overview of the development of western art from traditional to modern and contemporary, and will look at a number of well-known artists through history. Students will be encouraged to discuss and debate issues and content around some of the artworks. There is also an opportunity for students to sketch and make notes. Teacher note: Tours can be tailored to temporary exhibitions. Make learning outside of the classroom more accessible with our travel bursary scheme, funded through Arts Council England and the Department of Education. If so, you could qualify for a travel bursary of up to £250 per visit*, to support the costs of transport when visiting the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum and Coventry Transport Museum with your pupils. How to qualify: The travel bursary only applies to schools who book two learning sessions with us for the same group of pupils. This could include booking two sessions to take part at either the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum or Coventry Transport Museum, or combined across the two museums. Your school must have more than 20% of your children qualifying for pupil premium.
