The membership gives you access to exclusive online workshops that can be delivered in your school classrooms, with unique content about our museum’s collections and curriculum topics to supporting your pupils learning.

Simply fill in this form and our admin team will be in touch with you with your login details and membership package.

  • Unlimited access to virtual, pre-recorded workshops for 12 months (individual value £150 each).

  • A supporting resource kit sent directly to your school to support your workshops*.

  • Access to a virtual assembly for use throughout your 12 month membership.

  • Access to live Q&A sessions with our learning team (upon request) to help you use our virtual resources in your classroom.

  • Two V.I.P tickets to all of our exhibition launches across Coventry Transport Museum and Herbert Art Gallery and Museum.

    *Applicable for selected workshops, that require physical resources from the museums to support workshop activity.

Not at all. The wonderful thing about our virtual schools' program is that it has global reach and schools can make the most of it regardless of where they are located, however we are only able to send our supporting resource kits out to Coventry and Warwickshire based schools*.

*We can consider sending them to schools in the wider area, but this will incur a higher courier cost.

The workshops are virtual sessions, presented by our expert Learning Team and include activities for your pupils to take part in, in the comfort and safety of their own classroom. You are able to book an onsite museum visit for your class separately through the usual bookings line: 0247 6237523 or email

You will be sent a welcome email for your membership to an email address of your choice.  For safety, we will verify the address you have given and send login details with a link to the website.  Click login to access the dedicated members area of our website and you can access your workshops and supporting downloadable resources for use anytime throughout your 12 month membership.  

Each workshop has a separate short video to guide you through how to set up your session.  The guide will also explain how teaching staff can use our resource kits which are sent by courier, post or collected from the museum.  Full details will be provided when you join.

The resource kits vary for each workshop. Our History and STEM based workshops have large resource kits with real and replica objects from the museum, along with physical resources for hands-on active learning. These can be collected from the museum by a member of your school staff, or we can arrange for them to be couriered to you for an additional fee. The supporting art kits will be available for download, directly from the members area of the website.

We want to maintain and develop our relationships with you, and you are welcome to get in touch with us via and we will make sure your questions are answered directly by our learning team.
