The Bronze Arts Award offers learners an engaging opportunity  to explore and participate in the arts while developing valuable personal and transferable skills. This Level 1 qualification supports creative expression, independent learning, and communication, skills that are vital for success across school subjects and beyond.

To achieve the award, learners create a personal arts log or portfolio to evidence their experience across four key areas:  

• Taking part in an arts activity – developing skills in a chosen art form (any art from from  music, design, visual arts, digital media etc)  
• Experiencing the arts as an audience member – attending and reflecting on at least one arts event  
• Researching an artist or arts practitioner – exploring careers and creative practices in the arts sector  
• Sharing an arts skill with others – demonstrating leadership and communication by teaching or presenting a creative skill
